White Crow Consultancy is working directly beside Green Home in Gulu, Uganda to ensure the project develops in a sustainable manner and to help lift this project off the ground through external funding efforts. Bosco Endriko, the Founder and CEO of Green Home and his team have developed a formula that can make building materials that can be up to 3x as strong as normal concrete materials while also recycling plastic waste from the landfills.
This project meets the project expectations of White Crow, not only because of the sustainability of the product itself, but also because of the social values of Green Home. They plan to hire local staff that have been directly effected by the Lord’s Resistance Army, to have a gender equal staff, and to provide a source of income for local street youth.
Green Home is currently looking for funding to open their factory space, to purchase environmentally-friendly machinery and to hire their first staff. Even the smallest donation today will result in plastic being removed from the streets of Gulu, Uganda, lives being changed through employment, and a place of inspiration will be built for future entrepreneurs.
